Merge duplicate people

Put two records for the same person back together.

How to

  1. Open People, then More (•••) → Duplicates. When CFOLD finds some, a link also appears under the search box.
  2. Compare the two records side by side.
  3. Choose which one to keep. Its blanks are filled from the other.

Good to know

  • CFOLD pairs records with the same name or the same email, and catches emails that differ by a typo.
  • Groups, attendance and giving all move to the record you keep.
  • A merge cannot be undone. If they are different people, choose Not the same person.
